Hey there, I am Fauzan. Internet knows me as SouthernTW.

I write my thoughts here. They can consist of many things: sports, games, music, or tech. Whatever it is, it should be what I’m thinking at the moment. Pretty random, I’d say, but at least you will know what I’m up to.

I love writing, it’s a therapy for me. I mainly write to get my thoughts out, so what you’re seeing usually is like something that I wanna share to the world. That’s why it’s mostly opinionated or like sharing, and (should) not philosophical in any way.

I do have some interest in writing fictions, wattpad, stuff like that. But, I’m pretty lazy.

In this blog, what you’d see are mainly written but you’d also see some videos - or you can technically call it Video Blogs (vlog). Those are the same things, it is something I wanna share to the world, too. But it’s on a very different spirit to what you’d see typically on social media. I don’t really care about likes, views, and in fact, I wanna avoid caring about it at all, that’s why I put it here (and in YouTube is unlisted).

Nothing against people who love social media. Some people doesn’t do it for views or likes and don’t care about it regardless whether they have many or little. But some people like me exists, we can’t help it.

In real life, I’m pretty poor at writing or making up words at all. At some point, I considered using this blog to improve my skills. Pouring thoughts before assembling words. In truth, I still kinda cheated by using AI to correct my grammar, lol. some stuff you’d see here may feel like written by those silly AI, but trust me, I wrote it, they phrased it clearer. The idea is still there and it’s mine.

And it’s way better than filling up your draft and gets nothing out.

I am working as AIoT Engineer right now. Doing stuff related to Computer Vision. I am pretty happy and proud to be involved in the field, moreso because I always keep learning something new every single time.

What’s SouthernTW stands for? Southern is where I’m from: Southern Sulawesi. TW is taken from Digby Tatham-Warter, an authentic British army officer who brought umbrella to a war battlefield. I like weird people, that’s pretty much it.
